What is the HikeMaster Report?
For appraisals in your current companyHikeMaster is a salary intelligence report built for appraisal and promotion conversations inside your current company. Instead of walking into a manager’s room with “I feel I deserve more”, you walk in with a realistic hike band, an internal pay position, a market view and a calm, one-page script that you can literally read from.
If you are evaluating external offers, start with the Salary Worthiness Report instead — or use both, in sequence.
Who should use HikeMaster?
Early-career employees
1–4 years experience, ready to ask for a raise but unsure what’s reasonable inside your company.
Mid-level specialists
ICs and leads who’ve taken more responsibility but haven’t seen salary catch up with impact.
People stuck at the same CTC
One or two review cycles passed with “good work, but no budget” and no clear path forward.
Bridge before switching
Those planning to switch later but want to correct obvious underpayment internally first, if possible.
When HikeMaster is not ideal
- You already have external offers on the table (use Salary Worthiness first).
- You’re a founder / CXO deciding your own compensation.
- You need help with performance issues, not pay clarity.
Best timing to buy
- 2–8 weeks before formal appraisal cycles.
- Right before “mid-year check-ins” where pay may be discussed.
- When you’ve been informally promised “we’ll review soon”.

How the HikeMaster Report is created
Standard delivery · 48–72 hours1. Purchase & context form
You buy HikeMaster, log in to your dashboard and fill a detailed context form — current role, CTC, last hike, achievements, manager relationship, company stage.
2. Role & performance review
We review your responsibilities against your title and level, and may add a short targeted assessment if clarity is needed for your stream.
3. Internal + external benchmarking
Analysts combine your story with market data for similar roles and the typical hike ranges in your context (company size, sector, city).
4. Hike band & script
We set your hike band, write your appraisal script and load everything into your dashboard with a clean, shareable summary you can reuse.
Typical journey: Day 0 — purchase & form · Day 1–2 — analysis · Day 2–3 — dashboard + report ready. In peak seasons we’ll communicate timelines clearly inside the product.

HikeMaster vs Salary Worthiness
Pick the right report firstUse HikeMaster when…
- You’re staying in the same company.
- You want a raise / title change in this team.
- You have 1–3 months before or around appraisal.
- You want language for a conversation with your manager.
Use Salary Worthiness when…
- You’re exploring roles in other companies.
- You’re comparing multiple offers or ranges.
- You want a market band for a specific role/city.
- You need scripts for HR / recruiter negotiations.
Many people do both in sequence: first HikeMaster for internal correction, then Salary Worthiness when they are ready to look outside. You don’t have to decide everything on day one.

Accuracy, limits & responsibility
Honest expectationsWe don’t control your manager
We can’t guarantee a specific hike. We can only help you present your case clearly and anchor your ask in reality.
Company constraints are real
Sometimes there truly is no budget or room. In those cases, the report becomes a clarity tool to decide whether staying makes sense.
Your story matters
The more honest and detailed you are in the context form, the sharper and more usable your HikeMaster insights will be.
HikeMaster is a decision-support product, not legal or financial advice. You remain in control of what you ask for, accept or decline.
Frequently asked questions
Is this for new job offers?
No. HikeMaster is primarily for internal appraisals. For new offers and role changes, use the Salary Worthiness Report.
Can I reuse it next year?
You can reuse the logic, but salary data and context change. We recommend a fresh HikeMaster for a completely new appraisal cycle.
Will my company see my report?
No, unless you choose to share parts of it. We do not send your report to your employer.
What if my company has no formal review?
HikeMaster still helps. The script and strategy sections show you how to start a pay conversation even in unstructured environments.
Ready to prepare for your next appraisal?
HikeMaster is designed so you can go from “I don’t know what to ask” to “I know my band, my script and my next steps” in a couple of days.
