For you (giver)

  • Enter the receiver’s name and email.
  • Write your personalised message.
  • Complete payment via Razorpay.
  • Get a confirmation email with the gift reference.

For them (receiver)

  • They receive an email with your message and an activation button.
  • They create their dashboard login (email + password).
  • They complete onboarding, assessments and mock interview.
  • They receive their report and salary intelligence inside their dashboard.

Your job ends at gifting. All private salary data, assessments and reports live in their account — you don’t see anything unless they choose to share it with you.

  • They click “Activate gift” and create their password.
  • They see a short intro inside the dashboard.
  • They complete onboarding questions at their pace.

3. Full report journey

  • They do the assessment and mock interview.
  • We analyse and update their dashboard.
  • They get the same report quality as any paying user.

You don’t see their scores, bands or scripts unless they choose to show you. The gift is yours, the salary intelligence is theirs.

Validity & expiry

  • Gifts usually have an activation window (for example, 60–90 days).
  • Exact validity is shown during checkout and in the email.
  • Unactivated gifts may be rescheduled or reassigned in special cases.

Frequently asked questions

Will they know how much I paid?

No, the amount is not shown in the gift email. It only shows which report you gifted and your message.

Can I gift anonymously?

Gift-a-Boost works best when the receiver knows who cared enough to gift it. Anonymous gifting is not the default pattern.

Can they switch to a different report?

By default, the gifted report type is fixed. If there’s a genuine mismatch (e.g., they got a new offer instead of an appraisal), they can write to us and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis.

Do I see their report?

No. Their salary data, assessment and reports are private. They can choose to share elements with you if they want.
