What is the College Placement Bundle?
For campuses & placement cellsIt’s a structured way for colleges to give students salary clarity before they accept offers, and for the placement team to see where offers are fair, under-market or unusually generous. NesaWorks combines student-level reports with cohort-level insights to make campus placements more transparent and less stressful.
Who should consider this bundle?
Placement cells / TPOs
Training & placement officers who want clearer, data-backed conversations with recruiters and students.
Career services teams
Career centres that support internships, PPOs and off-campus offers across multiple batches.
Deans / HoDs
Academic leadership that wants better visibility into salary outcomes by stream, role and company tier.
Student bodies
Student-led councils (with admin approval) that want to pilot transparent salary guidance initiatives.
How the College Placement Bundle can be structured
Flexible formats1. Per-student pack
- Each student gets a Salary Worthiness or HikeMaster report (depending on context).
- College typically sponsors all or part of the fee.
- Simple counts: e.g., 100, 250, 500+ students.
2. Cohort-based programme
- Smaller group (e.g., top 50–100 interested students).
- Includes reports + live sessions on offers, CTC and negotiation.
- Good for pilots before scaling to full batch.
3. Insights & benchmarking add-on
- For colleges that already run their own training.
- NesaWorks provides benchmarking on campus offers vs market.
- Useful for annual placement reports and recruiter pitches.
What the experience looks like for students
From onboarding to report1. College enrollment
Students receive a college-specific link or code to activate their NesaWorks access and fill a short onboarding form.
2. Role-specific assessment
They complete a short online assessment tuned to the roles they’re applying for (e.g., SDE, analyst, marketing).
3. Mock interview / context capture
Depending on bundle: a mock interview slot or structured context form to understand offers and expectations.
4. Report & next steps
Students receive their Salary Worthiness/HikeMaster-style report: salary band, status, and scripts they can use in real conversations.

Example: How one campus could use NesaWorks
Illustrative scenarioScenario
A Tier-2 engineering college with 300+ final-year students in CS/IT, ECE and core branches wants to reduce underpaid offers and improve their placement report narrative.
- They choose a pilot for 120 interested CS/IT students.
- Each student gets a Salary Worthiness report.
- NesaWorks maps offers vs bands (anonymised) to show underpayment pockets.
Outcome
- Students understand that some “big brand” offers are actually low for their profile.
- Placement team adjusts floor guidelines for next season.
- College adds a “salary transparency & benchmarking” section to their placement brochure.
This is just an example — we’ll customise programmes for your specific mix of courses and recruiters.
Frequently asked questions
Can students buy individual reports instead of the college funding it?
Yes. Many colleges start with a “recommended but optional” model where students pay individually at NesaWorks prices, and the college only coordinates communication. We can support both college-funded and student-funded setups.
Will recruiters see individual student reports?
Not by default. Individual reports are private to students. Colleges can choose to use anonymised or aggregated insights in discussions with recruiters, but we don’t share specific student reports without clear consent flows.
Is this only for tech / engineering colleges?
No. We can support engineering, management, design and other professional programmes, as long as we understand the typical roles and companies that hire from your campus.
When should we start if our placement season is in a few months?
Ideally, at least 6–8 weeks before your main placement season begins. That gives enough time for student onboarding, assessments, mock interviews (if included) and report delivery before offer decisions are made.
